Trends We Are Loving For 2024

Neutral Accents

While white kitchen cabinets still dominate the industry as the leading finish of choice, we are starting to see more two-tone kitchen designs by using a light, wood-tone finish as a base or island cabinets in 2024. By using a neutral finish such as white oak, this brings an organic feel to the space, keeping the design light and airy and adding in character with the natural patterns found within the wood species.

Bold Colors

Another trend we are seeing for 2024 is choosing to make a statement with your cabinet selection by adding a bold color such as a bold black, rich blue or even a deep green. While the choice of these bold colors can be found making a great two-tone kitchen design, we are really seeing these colors used throughout all of the cabinetry in the kitchen to truly make a big statement.

Optimizing Cabinet Storage

Storage and organization has been a very popular trend since 2020, and is getting even stronger for 2024. With buzz words around anti-huals, decluttering and living for a more minimalistic lifestyle- finding ways to have your cabinets help with organization, whether it is built in or you can add after the fact, to make life simpler for you is something you should be looking for when designing your kitchen this year.

Larger Kitchen Islands

The kitchen is the heart of the home, and often times feature an island to create an anchor and focal point of the space. Islands serve a strong purpose as the central gathering spot of the kitchen. Since islands serve a great purpose for additional seating, surface space and storage space, making them larger is a strong trend we are seeing for 2024.

Beverage Centers

With the popularity of small beverage appliances, it is no shock that home owners are wanting to create a dedicated space to their morning coffee or drink of choice! Typically we are seeing these in a smaller cabinet section that is separate from the rest of the cabinet run. These beverage centers may also include a wine cabinet, mini fridge or ice machine as well.

Quartz Countertops

Stone countertops have been trending for years as the superior choice in countertop surfaces. Quartz is continuing to be the most popular material choice simply because of the low-maintenance benefits as well as beautiful, consistent patterns it has to offer. Trending quartz patterns we are seeing for 2024 include, fractured marble patterns, calacatta inspired patterns, and quartzite inspired patterns.

Decorative Range Hoods

While we mentioned that islands are the focal point of the kitchen, we are seeing the range hood become an additional focal point. Whether this is a built in look to blend seamlessly with the rest of the cabinets, a complimenting finish, or a stucco detail, we are seeing decorative range hoods in a variety of ways to add that custom touch to your kitchen.
